On the weekends during October, I will be sharing some fall amily favorites and new fall themed recipes I will be trying.  This weekend turns out to be all \u201capple themed.\u201d<\/p>\n

First up is these Caramel Apple Buttermilk Muffins.<\/em>  A friend first linked to these on facebook<\/a> and I had to add them to my \u201cto try in October list\u201d.<\/p>\n

They are SOOO yummy!  A sweet, flavorful muffin with tender pieces of apple inside and crunchy streusel and creamy caramel drizzle on top.  Not too sweet to still be called a muffin \u2013 the perfect combination!<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll want to head over to The Caf\u00e9 Sucre Farine for the full recipe and instruction<\/a>s. DON\u2019T skip any part of the recipe \u2013 from the extra pieces of apple on top, to the streusel, to the glaze.  Only thing I really changed was to double the streusel recipe \u2013 I don\u2019t like skimpy streusel-ed muffins and pretty much always double any streusel recipe. <\/p>\n
