While I was busy posting those posts last week, I was also busy doing some purging\/organizing\/rearranging and some projects.&nbsp; So you will see some of those things pop up on the blog in the next few weeks.<\/p>\n<p>Today I have a simple spray paint makeover project to share with you.&nbsp; I don\u2019t think I had spray painted anything ALL SUMMER.&nbsp; Wow.&nbsp; So it was fun to do that again and see the always amazing before\/after.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"Yard sale basket spray paint makeover\" alt=\"Yard sale basket spray paint makeover\" src=\"http:\/\/thefrugalhomemaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/DSC_0910.jpg\" width=\"560\" height=\"482\" border=\"0\"><\/p>\n<p>I found this basket in my yard sale d\u00e9cor stash and really wanted to put it to use somewhere in my home.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"Yard sale basket spray paint makeover\" alt=\"Yard sale basket spray paint makeover\" src=\"http:\/\/thefrugalhomemaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/DSC_0912.jpg\" width=\"560\" height=\"506\" border=\"0\"><\/p>\n<p>I think I got it sometime in the last year for a $1-2 and it is heavy, nice metal basket.&nbsp; I have really been trying to keep my eye out for more vintage finds and although this isn\u2019t a vintage metal milk crate or something like that \u2013 it does have a more vintage feel to it.<\/p>\n<p>But I wasn\u2019t loving the brassy\/greenish finish.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"Yard sale basket spray paint makeover\" alt=\"Yard sale basket spray paint makeover\" src=\"http:\/\/thefrugalhomemaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/DSC_0913.jpg\" width=\"559\" height=\"838\" border=\"0\"><\/p>\n<p>Rust-oleum Oil Rubbed Bronze spray paint to the rescue!&nbsp; You can find this at pretty much any home improvement store and even Wal-mart in my area.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"Yard sale basket spray paint makeover\" alt=\"Yard sale basket spray paint makeover\" src=\"http:\/\/thefrugalhomemaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/DSC_0916.jpg\" width=\"559\" height=\"838\" border=\"0\"><\/p>\n<p>Some quick coats of ORB spray paint\u2026<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"Yard sale basket spray paint makeover\" alt=\"Yard sale basket spray paint makeover\" src=\"http:\/\/thefrugalhomemaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/DSC_0920.jpg\" width=\"560\" height=\"701\" border=\"0\"><\/p>\n<p>And it was looking much better!&nbsp; And I found it a new home to add some nice contrast and storage in my guest\/half bath downstairs.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; By the way, I totally need to show you this bathroom \u2013 I did a pretty extensive makeover on it last year but still need to do the finishing touches so I can call it finished and show you.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"background-image: none;
