Hey!\u00a0 I am sure you have been on pins and needles since last Saturday waiting to see what was in that teaser picture I posted from my yard sale shopping adventures.\u00a0 Ok, maybe not, but maybe you were a little curious! \"Smile\"<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the teaser picture I posted last week on facebook<\/a>:<\/p>\n

It started just like a normal Saturday.\u00a0 I thought I was just going to stop by my parking lot yard sale, get groceries, and head home to work on projects the rest of the day.\u00a0 Turns out I came out of my house and it took me 30 minutes to leave my driveway!\u00a0 My neighbor across the street was having a HUGE yard sale and had some great stuff and some great prices.\u00a0 I know I missed out some awesome stuff \u2013 wish I would have known and I would have been up and out the door at 7 am to shop.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what I bought at her sale:<\/p>\n

The glass pitcher was $1.50 and the Christmas ornaments were $1.50 a box.<\/p>\n

And not pictured (I was already playing around with it on my fall mantel) was a white candleholder you can see in the facebook picture<\/a> above.\u00a0 New from Target \u2013 paid $1.00.<\/p>\n

I got the mercury glass Christmas tree for $2.00.\u00a0 (I can\u2019t resist mercury glass.\u00a0 Or milk glass.\u00a0 Or Mason jars.\u00a0 Or lanterns\u2026)<\/p>\n

She had a box with these 4 lanterns in it and when I asked how much, she said the whole box for $2.00.\u00a0 That is 50\u00a2 each<\/em> for the lanterns!\u00a0 I snatched it up quick!\u00a0 These are large metal lanterns and even though they might need a spruce up with some shiny black spray paint, 50\u00a2 was a STEAL<\/em>!\u00a0 Wish I had steps outside and I would put them lining the steps for fall and Christmas.\u00a0 I still may find a way to use them on my porch.<\/p>\n

This whole box of mason jars was $3.00.\u00a0 I will probably buy lids and use the smaller ones for canning some apple butter and the larger ones for decorating.<\/p>\n

So after depositing 3 boxes on my porch, I finally got in my car to leave my driveway.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I then stopped at another yard sale in the neighborhood across the street from mine.<\/p>\n

It was a rustic\/cabin type of house and they had horses, etc.\u00a0 So they had some really nice country d\u00e9cor!\u00a0 That is where I scored the wrought iron wagon wheel planter you saw in my fall front porch post.<\/a>\u00a0 I thought $10 was a good deal!<\/p>\n

Not pictured are 2 king size quilt sets (with shams) that I purchased (you can see them in the first picture).\u00a0 I picked these up for my brother who is an avid hunter\/fisher\/outdoorsman and he really liked them!\u00a0 $10 each for a king size quilt in great condition was a steal too!<\/p>\n

I stopped by my parking lot yard sale and only left with this canister for $2.00.<\/p>\n

So my quick yard sale morning turned into a yard sale extravaganza with tons of fun finds!\u00a0 Yard sales were everywhere \u2013 I stopped at a couple more, but didn\u2019t find anything.<\/p>\n
