Complete mailbox flower beds<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><font color=\"#666666\">Well, 1 out of 2 beds are completed! Which is why I haven\u2019t shown them to you \u2013 hoping to get the second one completed this week before my plants die! <img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-bottom-style: none; border-left-style: none; border-top-style: none; border-right-style: none\" class=\"wlEmoticon wlEmoticon-smile\" alt=\"Smile\" src=\"http:\/\/thefrugalhomemaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/wlEmoticon-smile2.png\" \/><\/font><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Paint another piece of furniture in the garage<\/strong>&#160; <em>(it\u2019s painted and in my house!&#160; Just need to decorate and reveal it!) <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Complete gallery wall<\/strong> <em>(In process!)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>5.&#160; Work on and hopefully complete 1\/2 bath<\/strong>&#160; <em>(This was my big Memorial Day weekend project.&#160; I just need to clean and finish the last touches of d\u00e9cor and then I will reveal it!)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>6.&#160; Paint guest room furniture<\/strong> <em>(This didn\u2019t get done and now will probably have to wait until July as June is going to be crazy around our house.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>7. Continue working on plans for the kitchen<\/strong> <em>(again \u2013going to have to move to July)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Work on organizing the garage<\/strong>&#160; <em>(Ha!&#160; I think I have come to an resolution on this.&#160; We haven\u2019t had an organized garage since we lived here \u2013 so why start now! LOL! <img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border-bottom-style: none; border-left-style: none; border-top-style: none; border-right-style: none\" class=\"wlEmoticon wlEmoticon-smile\" alt=\"Smile\" src=\"http:\/\/thefrugalhomemaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/wlEmoticon-smile2.png\" \/>&#160; Actually now it is packed with my <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/thefrugalhomemaker.com\/2012\/06\/01\/friday-frugal-finds-estate-sale-shopping-finds-40-furniture-new-master-bedroom\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>$40 master bedroom furniture<\/em><\/a><em> \u2013 so maybe when I get that done and out of there we can get it organized.)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><font color=\"#000000\">9. <\/font>Work on developing a weekly\/monthly cleaning schedule<\/strong> <em>(Didn\u2019t do this.&#160; I am learning, I think I despise cleaning more than I thought.&#160; Quite a few people around me always have an excuse of why they can\u2019t come to this activity or cook dinner for their family cause their house has to be spotless \u2013 phooey on that!&#160; I would much rather live life, cook good food, be creative and do projects, and not skip activities instead of my house and floor being spotless only to be dirty again 1 hour later.&#160; Super clean is overrated!)<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>10. I still need to try to break them down by week, but this month is going to be a little crazy for that.&#160; I am going to be tied up with quite a few things this month \u2013 blog conference, hosting a party at my house, having guests, helping decorate\/coordinate a wedding so my project time is going to be more limited.&#160; <\/p>\n<p>But here is what I am hoping to finish up and accomplish this month:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Put finishing decorating touches on our half bath and post a reveal (along with some \u201chow-to\u201d posts on installing beadboad, painting a perfectly straight edge, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Do my gallery wall and reveal it.<\/li>\n<li>Finish the 2nd piece of furniture in my garage (already painted just needs final sanding and clear coat), move inside, decorate and reveal.<\/li>\n<li>Put in my second mailbox flower bed and reveal both.<\/li>\n<li>Make plans for YOU, my readers, to get together with me in July centered around yard sale\/thrift store shopping \u2013 excited about this.&#160; Look for details soon!<\/li>\n<li>Attend a DIY\/Home blogging conference in Atlanta \u2013 ackkkk!!!&#160; Can\u2019t believe it is only 2 weeks away!&#160; <\/li>\n<li>Host a \u201cFavorite Things party\u201d \u2013 can\u2019t wait to share my d\u00e9cor, food and all involved in this fun night with you!<\/li>\n<li>Catch up on some Pinterest projects<\/li>\n<li>Work on incorporating more new recipes in our home and share some fun summer recipes with you in a new summer recipes series.<\/li>\n<li>Make some more envelope pillow covers and share a \u201chow-to\u201d post.<\/li>\n<li>Find an antique wood door (for a future project) and decide on plans for the headboard to go with my $40 master bedroom furniture.<\/li>\n<li>Make a new wreath \u2013 probably patriotic themed.<\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Enjoy summer<\/strong><\/em> and all the activities, grilling, lazy days, playing in the water, popsicles and fun that it brings!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><font color=\"#000000\">I love summer!&#160; Going to try not to get too bogged down in the details and take some time to just enjoy it!&#160; If you have kids home from school, I would suggest you do the same.&#160; They only have 18 summers at home \u2013 make use of them all!<\/font><\/p>\n<p><em>How did you do in May on your goals?&#160;
