Welcome to our home decorated for fall!  <\/p>\n

I love our long narrow front porch and it’s so fun to decorate for seasons.   <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Almost daily I spend some time on this porch swing.  <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Now let’s take a peek inside at our living room where we truly do live in and spend almost all of our waking time in this room.  <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

For years I did mostly neutral fall decor but in the last 2 years I have really loved the burnt orange as an accent color and even a bit of mustard yellow.  Just a few touches here and there with some pillows or a throw or a pumpkin or two.  <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

This year for fall I really wanted to focus on natural elements such as grasses and dried hyrangeas and textures such as chunky throws and pillows versus tons of fall specific decor like pumpkins and pillows with fall pictures or sayings.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Many of my pillows and throws are secondhand finds I bring home and wash really well and it has been fun to build a collection on a budget.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

We love our Ikea couches and chair!  Love that the covers can just be pulled off and washed and look like new.  <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

My mantel features a simple layered look – a large chalkboard I built layered with a wood window piece of wall art and a clearance Hobby Lobby Give Thanks print.  <\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I’ve changed up this area since the last time you’ve seen it.  I was looking for a different tv stand for quite a while and finally found this piece on facebook marketplace.  I’ll share the before\/after for it soon.  But it is taller, longer, larger and helps fill this huge wall much better.  Plus the closed hidden storage allows all of my little girl Paw Patrol toys to be hidden away yet available to be played with every single day. \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n

In fact there is toys in the basket on the hearth, toys in the basket next to the tv stand, and toys in the basket in the corner – my secret tip to making mommy and child happy is to keep toys in easy access yet still hidden when not being played with.<\/p>\n

Our fall living room was very cozy which is what I wanted… <\/p>\n
