You can buy packs of them at Home Depot for $0.98 &#8211; 10 smaller ones in a pack or 3 larger ones in a pack.\u00a0 Such an inexpensive way to get some wood for crafting and DIYing.<\/p>\n<p>Then you will need a free printable. There are so many free printables out there \u2013 lots of my blogging friends have created some amazing ones!\u00a0 Just do a quick search on Pinterest or I will share the one I created and used for this project at the end of this post for you to print for FREE!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I do suggest printing your printable out cardstock if you can \u2013 it will make it stronger and thicker and easier to work with.<\/p>\n<p>To prep my wood frame, I cut my paint stick handle off and the stick to the size of the top\/bottom of the paper and then applied a quick coat of dark walnut stain and let dry.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Just glue with craft glue or hot glue to the top and bottom of the paper.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0px currentcolor; display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"Christmas printable with DIY wood frame (2 of 7)\" src=\"https:\/\/thefrugalhomemaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Christmas-printable-with-DIY-wood-frame-2-of-7.jpg\" alt=\"Christmas printable with DIY wood frame (2 of 7)\" width=\"650\" height=\"724\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I imagine using a framed printable like this hung over open shelves or maybe at a coffee\/hot cocoa bar in a kitchen.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I don\u2019t have space right now for a coffee bar but hoping to build one in the New Year! <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wlEmoticon wlEmoticon-smile\" src=\"https:\/\/thefrugalhomemaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/wlEmoticon-smile-8.png\" alt=\"Smile\" \/>\u00a0 But I staged a little hot cocoa bar on my entry console (and I\u2019m sort of tempted to leave it there for the next few weeks <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wlEmoticon wlEmoticon-winkingsmile\" src=\"https:\/\/thefrugalhomemaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/wlEmoticon-winkingsmile-6.png\" alt=\"Winking smile\" \/>)<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0px currentcolor; display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"Christmas printable with DIY wood frame (4 of 7)\" src=\"https:\/\/thefrugalhomemaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Christmas-printable-with-DIY-wood-frame-4-of-7.jpg\" alt=\"Christmas printable with DIY wood frame (4 of 7)\" width=\"650\" height=\"443\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I just used removable poster sticky tabs to hang it \u2013 it\u2019s super light so easy to hang! You could also attach a ribbon or some jute on the back and hang it that way too.\u00a0 Lots of ways to customize it!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0px; border: 0px currentcolor; display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"Christmas printable with DIY wood frame (3 of 7)\" src=\"https:\/\/thefrugalhomemaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Christmas-printable-with-DIY-wood-frame-3-of-7.jpg\" alt=\"Christmas printable with DIY wood frame (3 of 7)\" width=\"650\" height=\"750\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The wood frame just adds a little bit of farmhouse charm and dresses up a free and simple printable.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0px currentcolor; display: inline; background-image: none;\" title=\"Christmas printable with DIY wood frame (6 of 7)\" src=\"https:\/\/thefrugalhomemaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Christmas-printable-with-DIY-wood-frame-6-of-7-1.jpg\" alt=\"Christmas printable with DIY wood frame (6 of 7)\" width=\"650\" height=\"433\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And if you would like to print the Farm Fresh Christmas Tree printable I designed, here it is!
