I have very similar hand scraped floors and have been so happy with them. This floor mop is excellent, picks up dust and hair. Really most of the time this is all I use on my floors. But then we are beyond having a precious baby crawling around on them. http://www.woolshop.com/FloorCare.html
For a spill or sticky spot, I do use a slightly damp microfiber towel. But only water, no chemicals.
Can’t wait to see more as the house comes together.
